"In 2008, my son had been struggling at nursery. Although we had been aware for some time that Henry was struggling to achieve his developmental milestones, when an individual in a professional capacity corroborates that opinion it can be an enormously difficult time. After visiting health visitors and a child psychologist with Henry I was becoming progressively more alarmed as he began to appear slightly bewildered at what all the fuss was about yet remaining unable to attain the expected outcomes for his age.
It was therefore, with a little unease that Henry and I sat in the waiting room of the local clinic. Well, I was uneasy; Henry was oblivious to anything that was happening – apart from playing with a jigsaw puzzle. I was most surprised when I heard a cheery voice greet Henry and I, and introduce herself as Emma Paul. She was very friendly and immediately I began to relax as it rapidly became obvious that not only did Emma truly enjoy her job but that was able to work diligently, skilfully and patiently.
Emma laid the foundations for him to receive the support that he needed. Incidentally, this has resulted in Henry being described by his teacher as one of the hardest working and highest achieving boys in the class. Without such significant input from Emma Paul I do not believe that Henry would be in the position he is at school. Shortly after meeting her it became apparent that this was more than an occupation, it was a true vocation, and one for which she possessed all the suitable qualities. She is patient, diligent, empathic and extremely capable. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone with language or communication difficulties of any category."

"I had 6 sessions with Emma from September 2010 for my stammer. At almost 40 years of age I had just about given up on Speech Therapy, my previous experiences with NHS therapy were not as positive as I had hoped for. Upon finding Emma's website, I decided to emailo her, she replied very quickly and answered all my questions. I was quite apprehensive as to whether starting speech therapy again would be worthwhile; fortunately it was thanks to the positive experience that Emma provided. I found Emma to be very friendly, easy to talk to and very meticulous in her approach to therapy. She is very supportive, encouraging and motivational which helped me to push myself way beyond my comfort zone. Sessions never felt hurried or rushed. Although I can't claim to be 'cured', I do have the necessary tools to improve my fluency as well as the confidence to use them in real world situations. I highly recommend Emma and cannot thank her enough for the help I received."
